IISAnswers.com does not collect any information on
users other than data automatically generated by IIS W3SVC logs and email
addresses provided by those who subscribe to the IISAnswers Newsletter.
The information gathered by the IIS logs files is not
used in any way other than to monitor traffic patterns for IISAnswers.com.
Email addresses for the IISAnswers email list is not
for sale and is used solely for the purpose of providing subscribers with
essential information about IIS as determined by IISAnswers.com.
If you subscribe to the IISAnswers.com newsletter and
would like to be removed from the list, you have three choices:
-
Instructions for removal are at the bottom of every
message. The email address and instructions provided are functional and
will remove you from the list immediately.
-
You can edit, add, and remove your address using a web
browser at http://www.iislists.com/scripts/lyris.pl. Select The IIS Lists
then IISANSWERS and enter your email address to manage
your account.
-
You can email
admin@iisanswers.com to request manual removal should the automated
processes fail or you otherwise need assistance.
The IISAnswers email list is setup on a secured server
and the list is not accessible to the public. There is no personal
information stored with the list other than your email address.
Additionally, the list requires that you confirm your subscription to keep
you from being "volunteered" for the newsletter without your permission.
The only disputes that have ever arisen occur when
someone believes they have unsubscribed but are still receiving mail. This
typically occurs when there is a forwarding account involved or the
subscriber simply forgot which address they used. We are happy to provide
assistance with removing email addresses from our list as required,
limited to removing your address from our list and logistical support in
solving delivery problems as time permits.
